Due Diligence Performed by Canadians Change
the World Inc:

We have located our products at source, thereby enjoying discounted and attractive pricing.

We have encouraged our participating charities to obtain a Fair Market Value Methodology Report of our products and have determined there may be a tax benefit to donating these items.

To ensure that our programs conform to CCRA guidelines, we have consulted industry experts and have engaged the services of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP and BDO Dunwoody to provide legal and tax opinions respectively. Please click on the Tax/Legal Opinions link to view the legal and tax opinions.

We undertook extensive research to determine a widely acceptable and nutritious combination of foods with a long shelf life and that can be transported easily.
Due Diligence Performed by participating Charities and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) :

To ensure that our programs conform to CCRA guidelines, all participating charities will have consulted industry experts and have engaged the services of Richard Wise, of Wise, Blackman Chartered Accountants and Business Valuators, to create a Fair Market Value Methodology Report. This report will help guide charities as to the appropriate methodology or formula to determine the fair market value of all products donated by Canadians. Please click on the Tax/Legal Opinions link to view the Fair Market Value Methodology Report

The Charities and other NGOs have assessed the food product offering and found it to be compatible with the needs of the people affected by hunger.

The Charities and other NGOs will provide quality control and audit evaluations on the products to be supplied and will ensure appropriate standards of warehousing.

The Charities and NGOs which distribute the food have each determined that their organization and delivery systems are in place to effectively reach those in need.
