Who we are
Canadians Change the World Inc. was created to help in the relentless effort to reduce global hunger, famine, and to contribute to other basic human needs. In order to meet these important objectives we have developed innovative gift-in-kind programs which facilitate donations from the Canadian taxpayer.
The Canadian Hunger Relief Gifting Program is the first in a series of gift-in-kind programs that with help Canadians reach all those in need of our support.
What we do
We act as a facilitator among you the donor, the supplier, the charity and other non-government organizations (NGOs) to ensure our products are of the highest quality, are shipped as per the charity's or NGO's direction, arrive safely and are properly distributed to those who need it.
CCTW is committed to Fair Trade Practices and Standards and to implementing an Ethical Investment Policy. Through the CCTW Community Fund, Canadians Change the World Inc., has resolved to enhance the quality of life of the agrarian communities from which we source our products. And, the CCTW Community Fund is mandated to fund development projects within Canada as well as globally.
We monitor all participating charities and NGOs, initially and on an ongoing basis, to do our best to ensure that they have the organizational expertise to deliver the donated products to those in need.

How we work
We have established a sales distribution channel to reach those Canadians who may wish to participate in our programs.
We have located our products at source and have negotiated attractive pricing based on significant commitments.
Consistent with CCRA guidelines, participating charities will provide you with a tax receipt based on the Fair Market Value assessment of the donated products. Please click on the Tax/Legal Opinions link to view the valuation summary.
And, to ensure that our programs conform to CCRA guidelines, we have consulted industry experts and have engaged the services of Fraser Milner Casgrain LLP and BDO Dunwoody to provide legal and tax opinions respectively. Please click on the Tax/Legal Opinions link to view the legal and tax opinions.
